Plan is a project planner which is similar to, and compatible with, Microsoft Project. Plan is supported on the Psion Series 3a/3c/3mx, Siena and PocketBook II PDAs.

Plan can be used in various ways:

• As a stand-alone project planning tool - it is a fully functional project estimation tool. It supports creation and editing of project plans, including recalculation of a project schedule.
• Alongside Microsoft Project on your desktop - you want to be able to view and edit Microsoft Project files on your Psion.
• Alongside Plan for Windows on your desktop - access and update your project plans anywhere, at your desktop or in a meeting or anywhere else via your Psion.

• Extract the files from the supplied zip file:
• If you have a copy of an earlier version of Plan, back it up and remove it from the Psion.
• Copy PLAN.OPA to \APP\ on any drive.
• Create the directory PLAN below the APP directory where PLAN.OPA has been installed.
• Create the \APP\PLAN\ directory.
• If on-line help is required then copy the file PLAN.HLP into the \APP\PLAN\ directory.
• Install any of the optional plan modules by copying the OPO files into the \APP\PLAN\ directory.
• Create the directory \PLN\ on the internal drive or a ram drive.
• Optionally copy EXAMPLE.PLN and EXAMPLE.RES into the \PLN\ directory.
• Install the PLAN.OPA using psion-i from Psion system screen.
